The CCK Strategies Tax Project Manager is responsible for tackling complex tax issues, identifying strategic tax planning and other consulting opportunities, and enjoys cultivating client relationships. The firm is interested in enterprising candidates who appreciate CCK's approach and how we engage business owners in every stage of their business's life cycle while closely working with Tax Team Leaders and Tax Partners. Responsibilities: - Detail review of tax returns and workpapers. - Create strategies with tax leaders and partners for best client solutions. - Manage client communication throughout the year. - Manage tax engagements including compliance and planning. - Work with analysts, seniors and leadership to ensure timely completion of projects and deliver excellent client care. - Coaching and developing tax seniors and tax analysts. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills - Strong oral and communications skills - Customer service focus, for both internal and external clients - Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information. - Must have strong skills in organization, planning and problem-solving. Must exhibit the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Must be organized and detailed oriented. - Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat required. - Must be technology savvy, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software. - Proactive problem solver who anticipates the unexpected. Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting - CPA Preferred - Minimum 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm and managing client relationships.
