Job Responsibilities
Review and coordinate the preparation of tax returns for real estate investment funds, REITs, partnerships, and related investment structures.
Advise clients on tax planning, compliance, partnership allocations, and transactional matters involving real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
Review and research complex tax issues affecting real estate investment entities and prepare memorandums supporting conclusions.
Manage client engagements by coordinating resources, monitoring engagement progress, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
Build relationships with investment managers, fund executives, and other stakeholders while identifying opportunities to expand client service offerings.
Collaborate with professionals across the firm to deliver integrated solutions for real estate investment clients.
Lead, coach, and mentor staff and seniors while fostering technical development and engagement success.
Stay current on tax law developments and industry trends impacting REITs, real estate funds, and institutional investors.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline
Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year in a managerial role involving clients and team members

Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
