Likewize is searching for a talented and driven Tax Manager to join us onsite at our global  headquarters in Southlake, Texas. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to expert ensuring our income tax accounting and compliance are running smoothly, especially when it comes to U.S. international tax, ASC 740, and transfer pricing.

We’re on the lookout for someone who brings strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative, team‑first mindset. You’re someone who loves navigating the exciting challenges that come with a multinational tax landscape and isn’t afraid to get hands-on with the details that keep our global operations running smoothly.

Your Key Areas of Focus

  • Income Tax Accounting (ASC 740)

    • Lead the US international quarterly/annual tax provision process and keep everything ASC 740‑compliant.

    • Work with international teams to review foreign tax provisions each quarter.

    • Review tax accounts, temporary differences, uncertain positions, and valuation allowances.

    • Partner with external reporting team on footnote disclosures and audits.

    • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with controls for all tax accounting processes.

  • U.S. International Tax Compliance & Planning

    • Run key U.S. international tax calculations (GILTI, Subpart F, BEAT, FTCs).

    • Team up with third‑party providers on outsourced U.S. international compliance (5471, 8858, 1118, and more).

    • Support transfer pricing documentation and planning.

    • Manage OECD Pillar Two and CbC reporting compliance.

    • Participate in tax planning projects including restructuring, cash repatriation planning, and cash tax optimization.

    • Support international teams on foreign compliance and audits as needed.

    • Stay ahead of new tax law (like OECD Pillar Two) and what it means for the business.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy

    • Work with FP&A, accounting, legal, and global teams to make sure tax impacts are front and center in business decisions.

    • Drive continuous improvement in global tax reporting, data systems, and automation—always looking for smarter, more efficient processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, paired with 4-5 years of progressive corporate income tax experience (ideally across both public accounting and industry)

  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 740 and key U.S. international tax areas (GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, FTCs, BEAT)

  • Proficiency with Excel and comfortable working with global tax provision tools (OneSource, CorpTax) and ERP systems like NetSuite or Oracle — you know your way around the tech that keeps tax running

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive deep into details

  • A clear, confident communicator with project‑management skills that keep teams aligned, from regional to global time zones

  • A hands-on go-getter who thrives in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments and can juggle multiple priorities with ease

Extra Skills We’d Love to See

  • CPA and/or Master in Tax that’s leveled up your expertise

  • At least 1-3 years of Big 4 Firm experience
