Description As a member of the management team, this position leads the delivery of international tax services to clients. Responsibilities include advising on complex international tax matters, developing tax planning strategies, managing U.S. and foreign compliance requirements, supervising and mentoring staff, reviewing work product, and collaborating with partners and other practice areas to deliver outstanding client service and solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee international tax compliance engagements for 1040 and 1120 clients including preparation and review of:
- Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 1118, 8992, 8993, 926, and other international information returns
- Foreign tax credit calculations
- GILTI, Subpart F, and other international tax provisions
- International components of federal and state income tax returns
- Federal tax elections under IRC Section 962, 7701(b), 6013 (g), 6013 (h), and other various code sections
- Advise clients on international tax matters including:
- Cross-border entity structures
- Foreign investments and acquisitions
- Repatriation strategies
- Transfer pricing considerations
- Treaty analysis and withholding tax issues
- U.S. taxation of inbound and outbound transactions
- Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda and client communications.
- Monitor changes in U.S. and international tax laws and assess client impacts.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential risks for clients.
- Review work prepared by senior associates and staff accountants for accuracy and completeness.

Required Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field required.
- Master's Degree in accounting or taxation preferred.
- Have 5 plus years of accounting experience
- Active CPA or EA license
Pay: • Starting at $100,000 to $110,000 based on experience
