What You'll Be Doing- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other flow-through entities.
- Lead and manage tax projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Analyze client data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams, articulating complex tax concepts clearly and confidently.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering growth and technical development.
- Stay informed on current tax issues and agricultural industry trends to provide proactive advice.
What You'll Need for This PositionEducation & Experience- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience.
- CPA eligibility/license preferred.
Technical Expertise- Strong background in tax compliance across multiple entity types.
- Experience in tax return preparation and review.
- Tax project leadership/management and supervisory experience.
Core Competencies- Digital fluency, including ability to learn and navigate CCH Axcess Tax.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify patterns and issues.
- Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions.
Additional Requirements- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20% annually).

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - $145,500.
