As a Tax Director within PCS, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and building strategies to help develop and maintain relationships with clients throughout the tax process.
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced
PCS Tax Director to join our growing team. The PCS Tax Director leads tax planning and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses. This role provides strategic guidance on complex tax issues, including estate, gift, and trust taxation. The director manages client relationships, ensuring exceptional service while overseeing and mentoring team members. Additionally, they collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver tailored solutions and drive business development initiatives.

Requirements:- 7 or more years' experience in public accounting with an emphasis on Tax.
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field (Masters degree a plus)
- Licensed CPA or EA certified
- Capability to research and oversee complex tax issues and projects with an exposure to a variety of entities and industries.
- Able to manage multiple complex projects and deliver in a timely manner.
- Ability and/or interest in generating and building business, delegating work and manage staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of high-net worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries.
- Work with clients to minimize their federal, state, and local tax liability.
- Supervise tax associates' assignments and manage the day-to-day delivery of tax consulting services to the client.
- Develop and motivate tax seniors and associates by reviewing their work and providing them with counseling, leadership and career guidance.
- Manage multiple engagements and deliver high quality products timely and efficiently.
- Champion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote-first operations, promoting paperless workflows through digital collaboration tools, participating in recycling initiatives to minimize paper use, and consistently demonstrate alignment with BPM's values.
$180,000 - $220,000 a year

The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.
