Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CPA to join a growing public accounting and advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals, business owners, partnerships, trusts, and estates.

This position combines tax compliance, tax planning, and strategic advisory, giving you the opportunity to work directly with clients on complex tax matters, estate planning, retirement strategies, and long-term wealth management.

The ideal candidate is a client-focused tax professional who enjoys solving complex problems, identifying planning opportunities, and building trusted, long-term relationships with clients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
  • Provide year-round tax planning, projections, and advisory services.
  • Research federal and state tax laws, regulations, and legislative developments.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop practical strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Assist with trust, estate, and fiduciary tax planning and compliance.
  • Support retirement planning, wealth management, and broader financial advisory initiatives.
  • Participate in client meetings and clearly communicate tax strategies and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with senior tax and advisory professionals on complex engagements.
  • Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines throughout the year.
  • Prepare accurate workpapers and maintain complete, organized supporting documentation.
  • Stay current on tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 1-3+ years of public accounting or tax experience.
  • Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Trust, estate, and fiduciary tax experience is highly preferred.
  • Interest in expanding beyond compliance into tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and wealth management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
