What will you do- Develop and implement tax planning strategies that align with business objectives through collaboration with key stakeholders
- Stay updated on tax laws, policies, regulations and industry trends
- Analyze business operations, transactions and investments and identify potential tax issues, opportunities and risk management strategies associated with global value chains
- Support tax-related matters associated with mergers, acquisitions and divestments
- Analyze complex tax issues and recommend practical and strategic solutions
- Distill recent legislation and regulations into practical guidance for our tax compliance organization to assist our corporation in complying with an ever-changing and complex tax environment
About youWe are seeking an attorney with a strong background in value-chain tax, who possesses the following qualifications:Skills and Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of tax planning experience
- Minimum of a J.D.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience- Tax LL.M. preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Adds value by collaborating effectively with colleagues, clients and other support functions
