As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Tax Attorney to join our respected Tax and Business Services practice group.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Tax Attorney with experience in advising businesses, individuals, and families on complex federal, state, and local tax matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax planning, compliance, and controversy work, along with experience working collaboratively with other attorneys and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
-Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues, including corporate, partnership, and individual taxation

-Provide tax planning for business transactions, mergers & acquisitions, and entity formations

-Assist clients with IRS and state tax audits, appeals, and disputes

-Collaborate with estate planning, business, and litigation attorneys to provide holistic client solutions

-Monitor tax law developments and advise clients accordingly

Qualifications:
-Juris Doctor

-Admitted to practice law in Ohio or eligible for admission

-3+ years of experience in tax law, either in private practice or with a government agency

-Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws
