Full Job Description
Tax Accountant, Tax, Exceptional Delivery and Growth Engine (Multi-Client) - Financial Services Office - Wealth and Asset Management (Manager) (Multiple Positions) ([redacted]), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Boca Raton, FL.

Provide clients with tax guidance and planning by identifying problem areas and items in tax returns, tax research, tax accounting, and tax projects. Analyze implementation of new tax laws and tax methods of accounting, as well as tax calculations for compliance. Responsible for identifying complex tax issues and providing recommended solutions by conducting research and/or position development. Provide advice and assistance to clients in managing risks across tax compliance and/or advisory services. Prepare complex financial closings, tax compliance filings, and other business analysis. Compile and evaluate complex data, computations, documentation, and various tax and accounting technologies.

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, Economics, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience in a professional services firm, or mid-sized/regional to large-sized/national public accounting firm, law firm, or company with an internal tax practice.

Must have 4 years of experience with financial and tax applications, including one or a combination of the following: Go Systems, One Source TP, and/or Corp Tax.

Must have 4 years of experience using Excel and Microsoft SharePoint.

Must have 4 years of experience in applying accounting and finance principles and procedures to complex assignments.

Must have 2 years of experience managing tax compliance engagements, including engagement-related budgeting and billing, serving as a primary point of contact for clients, and escalating issues to tax partners or executives as needed.

Must have 2 years of experience reviewing financial closings and tax compliance filings prepared by junior tax staff.

Must have one of the following: US CPA certification; member of a U.S State Bar; or an Enrolled Agent.

Requires domestic travel up to 50% in order to serve client needs.
