Position Overview:

We are seeking Senior and Junior Tax Accountants with expertise in business tax law, tax planning, preparation, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, client service orientation, and the ability to manage compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage tax compliance for diverse organizations, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns, computing taxes owed in line with regulations.
• Provide tax consulting and client services, ensuring strategies align with firm guidance.
• Develop and maintain record-keeping and accounting systems.
• Stay up to date on tax regulations, accounting standards, and business developments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (Required).
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in public accounting and business tax preparation.
• Certification: CPA preferred (candidates currently pursuing CPA also considered).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; experience with business and tax software (GoFileRoom, UltraTax, Fixed Assets, etc.).
