The Task Lead will serve as the principal interface with Government stakeholders and will be accountable for contract performance, staffing, quality, schedule, risk, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary interface with Government leadership and maintain clear, timely communication regarding program performance, priorities, risks, and decisions.
- Direct day-to-day execution across San Diego, California, and Fort Lee, Virginia, ensuring coordinated delivery across all functional areas.
- Develop, maintain, and execute the Task Order Management Plan, Quality Control Plan, Risk Management Plan, Communications Plan, and related management artifacts.
- Establish and maintain a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule and ensure milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and corrective actions are actively managed.
- Oversee staffing, onboarding, employee performance, retention, succession planning, and continuity of operations.
- Monitor cost, schedule, quality, staffing, and technical performance and implement corrective actions when performance indicators fall below established thresholds.
- Review and approve status reports, manpower and funding reports, briefings, deliverables, and other contractual submissions.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities involving project management, IT delivery, cybersecurity, acquisition support, administration, and communications.
- Ensure personnel comply with applicable security, records management, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Lead transition-in, knowledge transfer, process improvement, and transition-out activities.
Required SkillsExperience- Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible program or project management experience supporting Federal programs.
- At least four (4) years of experience managing complex Government programs or contracts.
- Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed, multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing staffing, schedules, budgets, risks, quality, deliverables, and customer relationships.
- Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules and executive-level program reporting.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
ClearanceCertifications / Tools- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience with enterprise project, portfolio, workflow, or reporting tools.
Desired SkillsExperience- Experience managing technology modernization, cybersecurity, acquisition, or mission-support programs.
- Experience operating within CMMI- or ISO-aligned delivery environments.
Education- Master's degree in a related discipline.
Certifications- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- ITIL, Agile, Scrum, or process-improvement certification.
