Full Job Description
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time Target Analyst Reporter (TAR), GG-0132-12, located at the 375th Cyber Operations Squadron at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

Salary Range (General): $90,000 - 116,000

Position may be eligible for the DCIPS STEM TLMS with a qualifying STEM degree

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

In the position, you will serve as a Target Analyst Reporter for US Cyber Command's (USCYBERCOM) Cyber Mission Forces engaging in the semi-complex to complex technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of customer requirements. Provides integrated cyber intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to collect, process, exploit, and disseminate (PED) accurate and timely information that provides the battle space awareness necessary to service, national, combatant commanders and other customers to successfully plan and conduct operations. The team employs all-source intelligence to identify, analyze, and report threats in support of USCYBERCOM and NSA/CSS Network Operations. Major duties and responsibilities are identified in response to USCYBERCOM and Combatant Command direction and regulations.

An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is desirable.

Ideal experience: Applicant ideally has a minimum of 4 years serving as a target analyst reporter with at least one assignment supporting a cyber related intelligence mission.

Knowledge of the wide range of intelligence research and reporting methods, techniques, and practices to use all-source intelligence information systems to capture data and report intelligence capabilities and threat assessments to interpret policy and commit resources.

Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to report detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation.

Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations.

Skill in conducting unbiased complex reporting, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.

Desired Experience: Basic Level TAR Job Qualification Readiness (JQR) Completed

Ideal Qualification: Senior Level TAR JQR Completed
