Brief Overview of PositionThe Senior Talent Sourcer will play a critical role in advancing Texas Capital's Talent Acquisition strategy by building and executing proactive sourcing strategies for critical, hard-to-fill and executive talent. This individual will partner closely with Talent Acquisition leadership, recruiters and business leaders to identify talent needs, map relevant markets and build relationships with exceptional passive candidates.
The Senior Talent Sourcer will bring a consultative, market-informed approach to talent acquisition, providing insight into talent availability, competitor organizations, market trends and candidate motivations. This role will also help build Texas Capital's enterprise sourcing capability, strengthen our employment-market presence and reduce reliance on external search partners by developing talent relationships and expertise internally.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for critical, hard-to-fill and executive-level talent across Texas Capital.
- Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive talent aligned to current and anticipated business needs.
- Conduct comprehensive talent mapping across relevant competitors, geographies and talent markets.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to translate business needs into targeted sourcing strategies and candidate profiles.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through HireEZ, professional networks, referrals, industry organizations and other sourcing channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on talent availability, competitive hiring activity, candidate motivations and emerging market trends.
- Support executive recruiting through market research, candidate identification, pipeline development and search coordination.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership on employment-brand and recruitment-marketing initiatives designed to strengthen Texas Capital's visibility within priority talent markets.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies and messaging that effectively communicate Texas Capital's employee value proposition.
- Leverage sourcing data and analytics to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities and continuously refine sourcing strategies.
- Partner with recruiters to determine which searches require dedicated sourcing support and develop appropriate sourcing plans.
- Help establish sourcing standards, processes, tools and best practices across Talent Acquisition.
- Provide guidance and coaching to recruiters and junior sourcing resources on sourcing techniques, market mapping and passive candidate engagement.
- Identify opportunities to execute searches internally that would otherwise require external search partners.
- Maintain accurate candidate and sourcing activity within applicable Talent Acquisition systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Qualifications / Competencies- 6+ years of Talent Acquisition, executive search or talent sourcing experience, preferably within financial services or another complex professional-services environment.
- Demonstrated success identifying and engaging senior-level passive talent.
- Advanced experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing, research and talent-intelligence tools.
- Strong market-mapping and talent-research capabilities.
- Ability to translate business needs into sophisticated sourcing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with recruiters, business leaders and candidates.
- Experience with Workday strongly preferred.
- Excellent written communication and candidate-outreach skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate talent-market data into actionable insights.
- Experience supporting executive or highly specialized searches preferred.
- Financial-services or banking recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
