The Raytheon Talent Leadership team delivers the design and execution of strategic talent solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Operational Excellence and Strategy team! Our dynamic team partners cross-functionally to identify organizational capabilities and competencies that are mission critical to the current and future success of the company. This individual will directly support the project management of the Operational Excellence and Strategy (OpEx) team within the Raytheon Talent COE. The Raytheon Talent COE includes Organization and Team Effectiveness Solutions, Employee Experience & Onboarding, Leader & All Employee Development Solutions, Talent Management, Executive Development Solutions, and Operational Excellence & Strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptionally strong project management, presentation, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, while working across the six Talent teams. They thrive in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments where expectations are high and priorities shift quickly. They are energized by owning complex, cross-functional bodies of work and shaping clarity in gray space. This person excels at building alignment across teams and driving strategic outcomes with minimal oversight.

This position will be remote.

What You Will Do
  • Full life-cycle project management of short and long-term projects driven by Raytheon Talent COE and customer needs.
  • Operate as a strategic thought partner with the lead of OpEx supporting executive level presentations and decisions
  • Support annual goal alignment process gathering feedback from stakeholders and providing strategic recommendations to the VP of Talent.
  • Take on start to finish execution, and outcomes of critical initiatives including the development and delivery of final executive level content.
  • Partner to provide support of RTX Talent COE initiatives related to talent management, talent development & learning, and organizational health support across RTX and Raytheon.
  • Utilize the CORE OS to ensure continuous improvement of programs, practices, processes, and tools across the Talent COE, including internal experiences and external benchmarking to keep up with best practices in the industry.
  • Be responsible for Talent COE cyclical communications including Town Halls, Offsites, Skip levels, and maintenance of the Talent COE Teams Channel.
  • Provide ad hoc support across Talent Development, Employee Experience and Onboarding, Talent Management, and Organizational Effectiveness, and Program Manager Development teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

This position allows you to independently own large scale projects start to finish at one of the highest levels for the Raytheon HR team, including opportunities to execute for the HR Senior leadership team.

This position offers a unique experience to gain a deeper knowledge and application of RTX's CORE Operating Model, Tools, and Methods. If interested, you will have the opportunity to earn advanced CORE training.

This position offers a unique lens to gain both a breadth and depth of talent knowledge across all pillars of the Talent COE at Raytheon, giving you the chance to learn more about all that our COE does to support our customer and business needs.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree with 10 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 8 years of related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience owning projects and/or large-scale programs within the HR or Talent Management field.

  • Experience owning multiple projects simultaneously from concept through adoption to meet strategic project goals, track deliverables, change adoption, and key metrics where applicable.
  • High-level of emotional intelligence and learning agility that translate to initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, patience, and the ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to leverage tools and technology including O365 Suite
  • Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) Apprentice and/or Champion Level Certificate with aspirations of advanced training.

Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
