Full Job Description
What Impact You'll Have

We are seeking a solid mid-level Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience supporting government customers with a focus on bid and proposal recruiting, while also pivoting to funded work as needed, to join our team. This position will support our TS/SCI cleared opportunities which requires a high level of outreach and significant influence skills to execute on best-in-class practices for end-to-end candidate experience from sourcing, screening, interviewing to selection and offer negotiations. This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must reside within the DMV area to support in-person events, team meetings, and business needs, as required, at or near our McLean, VA headquarters.

What You'll be Owning
  • Perform full life cycle recruiting and sourcing for cleared positions supporting government contracting programs.
  • Focus on supporting Bid & Proposal recruiting efforts, with the flexibility to provide recruiting support across other Business Groups as business priorities allow.
  • Conduct high-volume candidate outreach and screening in support of government contract pursuits.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Lead candidate negotiations throughout the offer process, utilizing strong communication and influencing skills to successfully close candidates.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates within the guidelines of the approved compensation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and searches through our applicant tracking tool to ensure audit-ready posture at all times.
  • Exercise a wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization
  • The ability to track and report metrics regarding recruiting activity and in compliance with company policy and procedures, federal and state laws

What You Must Have
  • US Citizenship is Required
  • A Bachelor's degree and 2 - 4 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting hiring candidates with clearances.
  • Willingness to support local events and attend in-person meetings local to McLean, VA, as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions using sourcing techniques and networking.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, scheduling interviews, communicating outcomes with candidates, negotiations throughout the offer process, and utilizing strong communication and influencing skills to successfully close candidates.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities in an applicant tracking system is required. Experience using Greenhouse Recruiting is a plus!
  • A positive, collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic, growth-focused company.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
