Summary As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Sourcing, you will support the firm's business professional recruiting efforts by identifying, engaging, and developing candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Working closely with Talent Acquisition Recruiters and Hiring Managers, you will conduct candidate research, market mapping, sourcing, and outreach activities to support the recruitment of business professionals across a variety of functions and office locations. You will leverage sourcing tools, talent intelligence platforms, and market research to identify qualified active and passive candidates while helping to build and maintain talent pipelines. You will also assist with gathering and sharing talent market information to support recruitment strategies and hiring decisions. Location This position can sit in any of our Reston, Atlanta, Washington, DC, or Philadelphia offices and offers a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities 3 Partner with Business Professional Talent Acquisition Recruiters to support sourcing activities for active and anticipated business professional openings across the firm. 3 Participate in intake discussions to align on candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, and evolving market conditions, ensuring a consistent and informed approach to talent identification. 3 Partner with Talent Acquisition Recruiters to review incoming applicants against defined position requirements, helping to identify and advance qualified candidates for further consideration. 3 Support the posting and maintenance of job requisitions in Workday and other platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with firm standards and branding. 3 Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, professional networks, referrals, internet research, and other sourcing tools to identify qualified active and passive candidates. 3 Conduct market mapping and candidate research to support business professional hiring initiatives across multiple departments, functions, and office locations. 3 Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, with a focus on recurring and difficult-to-fill positions. 3 Generate candidate lists and talent pools based on position requirements and guidance provided by Recruiters and Hiring Managers. 3 Conduct targeted outreach to prospective candidates to introduce DLA Piper opportunities, assess initial interest, and identify potential alignment with position requirements. 3 Maintain relationships with prospective candidates and passive talent to support future recruiting efforts and ongoing pipeline development. 3 Gather and share talent market information, including talent availability, competitor activity, organizational structures, and other relevant hiring trends. 3 Support the maintenance of candidate and pipeline information within Workday and other recruiting systems. 3 Assist with reporting related to sourcing activity, candidate pipeline development, and recruiting initiatives. 3 Promote a positive candidate experience through professional communication and timely follow-up. 3 Collaborate effectively with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Human Resources, and other stakeholders throughout the sourcing process. 3 Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information entrusted to the Firm. Desired Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Experience using an applicant tracking system, preferably Workday. Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, or similar sourcing platforms. Working knowledge of Boolean search methodologies and internet research techniques. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify qualified talent and develop candidate pipelines. Ability to organize and maintain candidate information while managing multiple sourcing projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience conducting candidate outreach and engagement. Ability to build productive working relationships with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and candidates. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team environment. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment. Minimum Education 3 High School or GED Preferred Education 3 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics or related field. Minimum Years of Experience 3 2 years of experience supporting talent acquisition, recruitment, sourcing, staffing, human resources, or a related function. 3 Experience conducting candidate research, sourcing, prospect identification, recruiting coordination, or talent pipeline development within a law firm, professional services organization, corporate environment, or staffing agency is preferred. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidates experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
