Job Description:
Adolfson and Peterson Construction is currently hiring for a Talent Acquisition Partner based out of our regional office in Aurora. This role is the primary talent acquisition partner for recruiting across our Mountain States Region with additional recruiting responsibilities across the country.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will be accountable for full-cycle recruiting ensuring the hiring needs for the business are met. This role will be an active, strategic partner collaborating with hiring managers across the organization to identify talent needs and implement recruiting strategies to ensure positions are filled with the best talent.
Responsibilities:
- Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
- Develop and optimize effectiveness in recruiting and hiring practices by sourcing, engaging and selecting candidates whose experiences, competencies and values are aligned with our business expectations.
- Partner with the hiring manager to understand the positions, determine talent needs and develop unique recruiting strategies to meet the needs of various positions.
- Responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates (internal and external) by video, phone or in person.
- Ensure regular and consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Present top candidates to the hiring manager.
- Facilitate the interview and offer process. Deliver an engaging and positive candidate experience.
- Serve as an industry recruiting subject matter expert.
- Advise hiring managers on ideal recruiting and hiring strategies.
- Ensure hiring managers are prepared for the interview process.
- Actively use all available recruiting sources, such as LinkedIn, social media, recruiting job boards, career fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and engage quality candidates.
- Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to promote brand awareness during the hiring process and ensure a positive employer presence.
- Track, update, and coordinate all aspects of a candidate and requisition progress through the hiring process in Workday Recruiting Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with external recruiters and agencies.
- Track recruitment metrics. Create and present appropriate metrics to illustrate and share recruitment results.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- History of experience and proven results including:
- Bachelor's degree preferred plus 3+ years of experience as a recruiter supporting all levels and functions of the business.
- Experience in A/E/C Industry strongly preferred
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting sources.
- Developed skills (written, oral and listening) to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Knowledge of talent acquisition related compliance requirements.
- Ability to influence others and partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Experience working with Workday Recruiting ATS preferred.
- Demonstrated success recruiting passive candidates, building networks and pipelines of candidates
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% to regional offices and corporate office in Minnesota.
