As the Talent Acquisition Manager over Acute/Post-Acute Recruitment, you'll shape the operational foundation of our talent strategy across acute and post-acute care settings, ensuring we attract, engage, and hire exceptional clinical and operational talent across our system. This is one of two Recruitment Manager roles reporting into the Director of Acute/Post-Acute, and you'll lead a team of 12-15 team members, including recruiters and coordinators. In a healthcare landscape where acute and post-acute talent is highly competitive, this role is central to our ability to deliver quality, safe patient care across the continuum.
The Talent Acquisition Manager, Acute/Post-Acute is responsible for planning, developing, managing, and overseeing operational Talent Acquisition staff and system-wide recruitment initiatives dedicated to acute and post-acute care roles. This position is one of two Recruitment Manager roles reporting into the Director of Acute/Post-Acute, and leads a team of 12-15 recruiters and coordinators, owning all full-time, part-time, flexipool, and temporary hiring across acute and post-acute settings.
This Manager leads the operational framework for the acute/post-acute recruitment strategy, establishing programs and policies that drive contemporary, data-informed practices tailored to the realities of clinical and operational hiring, including licensure requirements, specialty pipelines, and competitive labor markets. This position serves as an influential advisor who understands evolving staffing needs and stakeholder expectations, translating them into innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies.
The Manager builds and maintains the organization's employer brand within the acute and post-acute care community, owns workforce planning for hiring needs across these settings, and tracks key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, using that data to continuously strengthen team performance.
This role influences outcomes and communicates closely with Talent Acquisition Advisors, Consultants, and Specialists focused on acute/post-acute recruitment, sharing best practices and modeling a customer-focused approach to understanding the needs of hiring leaders across these care settings. The Manager oversees the effective attraction, screening, selection, and development of a high-performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline that supports safe staffing levels and quality patient outcomes at scale.
This role requires maintaining confidentiality and operating with efficiency and integrity in a fast-changing clinical staffing environment, while driving accountability and operational excellence.
