Chipton-Ross is seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner 2 for a Remote contract opportunity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience in recruiting and/or sourcing - OR - Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant professional experience in recruiting and/or sourcing.
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate within a high-volume environment.
- Successful demonstration of full-life cycle staffing experience to include experience sourcing, identifying, and attracting top talent.
- Ability to define and implement research and sourcing strategies for critical positions.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, to include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability for occasional domestic travel to assist with events and in support of the business.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner - Level 2, to join the Space Sector Engineering and/or Manufacturing & Operations Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be local to one of the major Space sector locations, remote applicants may be considered.
- Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and/or division-specific requisitions. Requisition load to include administrative, hourly technicians, exempt professionals, managers, and directors.
- Develop creative strategies to source, identify, attract, and hire top candidates in a timely fashion and share best practices with team members.
- Assess candidates for cultural, competency and skill fit, quickly synthesizing candidate and hiring manager feedback and routinely pre-closing candidates to ensure high acceptance rates.
- Operate as a business partner by advising hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and collaborating with others throughout the organization ensuring a smooth process and meeting required business objectives.
- Ensure a strong pipeline for open positions.
- Possess the business acumen to influence key stakeholders, developing trusting relationships and effecting business outcomes.
- Leverage other functional areas as well as utilizing data and market intelligence when advising the business and executing staffing strategies.
- Understand and adhere to compliance and talent acquisition processes.
- Collaborate with our leaders and other key players to ensure a streamlined and positive candidate experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Aerospace/defense industry experience with the ability to understand relevant skills, target companies and user groups.
- Active in the social digital and recruitment arena.
- Experience with Workday or a comparable applicant tracking system and Eightfold.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONHigh school diploma is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURSFull-Time 9/80 workweek.
