The Opportunity

Are you a persuasive communicator with a strong technical background in data center technologies, virtualization, and a passion for building client relationships? If so, you will thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment at Nutanix, where you will support mid-market healthcare clients while leveraging innovative solutions in private and public cloud technologies and enjoying flexibility in your remote work setup.

Your Role
  • Support mid-market healthcare clients in the central region by managing technical inquiries and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with existing Sales Engineers to develop and execute territory strategies effectively.
  • Conduct technical interviews for prospective candidates, contributing to the recruitment efforts of the team.
  • Engage in remote and on-site meetings with clients to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
  • Travel approximately 40% of the time for client engagements, ensuring face-to-face interactions as needed.
  • Stay updated on Nutanix products and relevant industry trends to provide informed technical support.
  • Assist in transitioning responsibilities from the outgoing Sales Engineer to ensure continuity of client service.
  • Foster collaboration within the team to enhance knowledge sharing and optimize workload management.


What You Will Bring
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, particularly in data center technologies and virtualization.
  • Strong understanding of server storage and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with public cloud technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to establish rapport with clients.
  • Technical knowledge in security and its application in sales discussions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, though not required.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,600 and USD $ 248,400 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
