About the Team

The Systems Engineering & Solution Sales team at Nutanix is a dynamic and customer-focused group of 800+ technical sales professionals located primarily in Atlanta. This team thrives on collaboration and innovation, working closely with customers to identify and address their business challenges through tailored technology solutions. Our mission at Nutanix is to transform the way companies work by providing cutting-edge Enterprise Cloud Technology solutions that empower organizations to operate more efficiently and effectively.

You will report to the Sr. Director of Systems Engineering, who fosters a supportive and empowering leadership style that encourages team members to grow professionally while maintaining a strong focus on customer success. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility; however, you will occasionally be required to participate in office activities as needed.

This position entails about 30% travel, primarily within your designated territory and for event-based opportunities. This travel requirement is essential for building long-term relationships with customers, conducting presentations, and ensuring successful product implementations.

Your Role
  • Conduct discovery workshops to understand customer business challenges and present tailored Nutanix solutions.
  • Articulate and demonstrate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Configure and size Nutanix solutions according to customer requirements.
  • Drive customer adoption within designated accounts through leveraging available programs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Collaborate with sales counterparts to develop account plans and solutions proposals.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback for improvement within the Nutanix ecosystem.
  • Ensure successful execution of technical evaluations (POCs) to drive deal success.


What You Will Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with detailed action plans
  • Advanced virtualization knowledge and/or enterprise application expertise
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb servers for proof of concept execution


Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,600 and USD $ 248,400 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
