The System Reliability Engineer (SRE) improves and protects the software and systems behind all of T-Mobile's IT services, including management of scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity, and delivery of software faster, better, and cheaper. From designing & maintaining CICD Pipelines to building the next generation of T-Mobile applications on cloud native platforms, the SRE's enable great customer experience and product innovation by continuous improvement of operational support. Driving the Next Evolution of Access Governance The Compliance Campaign Management (CCM) team within T-Mobile's Identity Security and Access Management (ISAM) organization is leading a major transformation in logical access compliance. What was once a predominantly manual User Access Review process is rapidly evolving into a sophisticated, automation-driven platform powered by cloud technologies, APIs, workflow orchestration, and artificial intelligence. Our team designs and builds solutions using Power Platform, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Microsoft Graph APIs, and AI-powered automation to streamline compliance operations while expanding risk visibility across the enterprise. Every innovation we deliver helps reduce manual effort, strengthen control effectiveness, and improve audit readiness. To support this evolution, we're seeking an SRE who will own the reliability, observability, and continuous improvement of our compliance automation ecosystem. In this role, you'll ensure our automation platforms remain highly available, performant, secure, and audit-ready, enabling critical compliance processes to operate seamlessly across the enterprise. Job Responsibilities: - Utilizes proficient knowledge and skill in emerging DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CICD, configuration management, etc. for non-prod and production environments. - Performs environment management, automated server provisioning (VMs), pipeline configuration. - Delivers software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of T-Mobile's services. - Creates, manages, and uses dashboard for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improve the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for non-production and production environment. - Contributes to future improvement of software delivery processes and operations, e.g., cloud enablement, use of microservices with containerization. - Maintains and improves the reliability and uptime of compliance automation workflows including Power Apps, Power Automate approval flows, Azure blob storage pipelines, and agentic automation integrations supporting 100+ annual SOX, PCI, and CPNI controls. - Builds and maintains observability and monitoring for AI agent workflows - tracking agent accuracy, SLA compliance, and anomaly detection - enabling the team's Human-in-the-Loop governance model and audit accountability standards. Education and Work Experience: - Bachelor's Degree (Required) - 2-4+ years relevant experience. (Preferred) - Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment. (Preferred) - Experience in one or more of: C, C#, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting experience in Shell and Perl. (Preferred) - Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools, such as, Jenkins, Cloudbees, etc., and other automation tools. (Preferred) - Experience with DevOps tools, such as, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc. Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, etc. is preferable. (Preferred) - Experience in APM tools like, AppDynamics, logging tool, like Splunk. (Preferred) - Experience working in a cloud environment (public/private). (Preferred) - Experience in migrating to cloud or cloud native environments is preferable. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
