ZPI, a ProMach brand, develops the Zarpac Performance Index (ZPI) manufacturing performance improvement software used in high-speed food, beverage, pharma, and personal care packaging environments.
We are seeking an Intermediate Systems Integrator to join our growing team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of industrial automation, controls, and manufacturing software, supporting the integration and commissioning of real-time production data systems at customer manufacturing sites.
This position is primarily based out of our Oakville, ON office and follows a hybrid work schedule, with flexibility to work from home when not traveling or on-site with customers.
What You'll Be Doing- Integrating and commissioning ZPI software in live manufacturing and packaging environments
- Reviewing PLC and HMI code to identify and validate production data
- Configuring and troubleshooting OPC DA / OPC UA communications
- Supporting customers through commissioning, go-live, and post-implementation
- Collaborating with customer controls, engineering, and operations teams
- Participating in customer meetings to review project status and technical requirements
- Creating and maintaining clear technical and project documentation
- Helping end users understand and apply manufacturing performance data
What We're Looking For- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or systems integration
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electrical Controls, or a related field
- Hands-on PLC experience (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, or similar)
- Working knowledge of OPC DA and OPC UA (Kepware, Ignition, or comparable platforms)
- Exposure to manufacturing intelligence systems such as OEE or MES
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing or packaging environments
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable balancing multiple projects and priorities
TravelThis role requires approximately 30-50% travel, primarily to customer manufacturing facilities in the United States, with occasional international travel; candidates must be able to meet cross-border travel requirements as needed
