Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Integration & Test Engineer to support the Next-Gen OPIR GEO (NGG) program, based primarily in Longmont, Colorado. In this role you will integrate and verify key capabilities needed for the launch of two space vehicles while working closely with multiple Scrum teams-including software, hardware, systems engineering, and test-to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration. You will follow a 980 schedule (nine-hour days, every other Friday off) and may be called upon for occasional on-call support during off hours or weekend shifts to support operational equipment, participating in both developmental work that meets major program milestones and depot Level 2 activities that handle operations, test support, and the maintenance and checkout of our operational systems. Your duties will include : uli Planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. uli Translate customer contractual needs into test solutions that respect technical, schedule, and cost constraints, establish functional and technical specifications, resolve hardware-software interface issues, and define input/output parameters to ensure full system integration. uli Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules; coordinate subsystem and system testing activities with program teams and other organizations. The information below includes the standard job description for this position Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
