Job DescriptionOverviewThe Systems Integration Lead is responsible for overseeing systems engineering and integration activities to ensure that all project systems are effectively coordinated, tested, and delivered in alignment with project requirements.
This role supports the Systems Engineering Manager and works closely with multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful integration across all systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Your role- Lead and support systems engineering and systems integration activities across the project delivery phase.
- Support the Systems Engineering Manager in planning and execution of systems engineering activities.
- Oversee the development and implementation of systems engineering processes, procedures, and methodologies.
- Coordinate systems integration activities and support testing to ensure systems meet project requirements and performance criteria.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers during design, testing, and implementation.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained, including technical specifications, drawings, test plans, and results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and participate in project discussions, meetings, workshops, and analysis activities to support integration planning, identify project needs, challenges, and opportunities, and ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
About you- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline); P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration is an asset.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and integration on major rail/transit, infrastructure, or other complex systems projects.
- Strong command of systems engineering principles, integration processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience applying systems engineering practices across design, integration, and delivery phases of projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage complex interfaces in a fast-paced project environment.
