Job DescriptionThe selected candidate will perform testing support at hardware-in-the-loop test venues, government test venues, and fielded/operational sites.
Essential Functions:- Strong understanding of RedHat/Linux operating systems including command-line processing
- Ability to construct reports and documentation using Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Work in a technical team environment with frequently changing tasks and new priorities requiring quick responses
- Prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish test and project results with limited oversight and direction
- Estimate testing to be done and acquire necessary resources to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Collaborate and communicate openly and effectively with teammates and customer representatives
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field with 8 years of experience; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD, or equivalent combined education/experience
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI
- Familiar with reading, writing, and execution of test case procedures
- Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Experience testing software and hardware for performance and functionality based on requirements
- Experience with software and hardware test planning, monitoring, and execution
- Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
Desired Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
- Testing software for performance and functionality based on requirement specification
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with technical teams and customers
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure and hardware
- Experience analyzing complex problems and developing solutions with limited direction
