Standard Job DescriptionPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. In this role, you will be part of a software development SCRUM team as the embedded system engineer and will be assisting with system modeling, requirements definition and user outreach to ensure proper design of the software architecture. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Scrum processes and System Requirements (such as Jira and Confluence) and be familiar with system modeling applications (Cameo).
The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic QualificationsStrong foundational knowledge of engineering principles, system architecture, and design
Strong understanding of Cameo modeling tool
Experience creating artifacts using Jira and Confluence
Experience working within a Scrum team
Desired SkillsKnowledge of GEOINT analytic workflows
Understanding of Cedalion or Orchestration Services applications
Previous experience working on a SW program
Comfortable completing user outreach as well as training
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
