The Opportunity:

CACI seeks a motivated systems engineer ready to apply and share their subject matter expertise and willing to learn additional skills. This CACI program supports the development of a mission critical capability in the DoD sphere. The successful candidate will work with cross-disciplinary engineers (RF, electrical, mechanical) engineers to support design, manufacture, development, and test phases of this program.

Responsibilities:
  • Applying interdisciplinary engineering expertise in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for the complex solutions we will provide our customer.
  • Work within, and lead, multi-disciplinary engineering team consisting of communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge. to drive a successful product
  • Conduct and review system analysis of the total system to include: concept, design, development and integration, test, installation, and operations at testing.
  • Convert customer requirements to logical and system requirements that support system development and testing
  • Perform functional analysis, performance budget, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies
  • Validate team requirements decomposition
  • Sharing knowledge through Mentoring/ Coaching other team engineers


Qualifications:

Required
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience, of which minimum of 7years with be directly in systems engineering
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise with architecture, design, development, integration, test phases of system engineering
  • Demonstrated subject management experience working in a cross disciplinary engineering teams
  • Expertise creating and reviewing contract deliverable documentation, including technical documentation
  • Experience with MBSE tools
  • Experience communicating with executive leadership


Desired
  • Experience in the development and test of RF based systems
  • Experience creating customer documentation
  • Interest in mentoring/coaching junior systems engineers
