Description

The Systems Engineer (SE) will support a customer organization and serve as a trusted agent across several SE disciplines. You will facilitate collaboration across organizations necessary to ensure the equities Directorate Offices are considered in the development of work products, as well as supporting other desired organizational outcomes. You will act as a contractor point of contact for office tasks and proactively ensure responses meet deadlines. You will be expected to develop executive-level communications and correspondence with a high degree of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of written information.

The successful candidate will:
• Support Directorate leadership with general SE support (requirements management, schedule management, risk management, readiness);
• Provide support to Directorate level threads/focus areas to include development of processes, frameworks and templates to facilitate integration of thread/focus area deliverables
• Track and status action items, support program-based action item resolution, and provide updates on open actions to group leadership;
• Solicit and consolidate inputs from multiple sources (Government, FFRDC, SETA, developer, etc.) and produce high-quality action item responses, reports, briefings and/or plans in accordance with the customer formats and guidelines for internal and external consumption upon government approval;
• Facilitate preparation and coordination of customer leadership's briefings to governance boards/forums;
• Produce high-quality presentation materials, to include multimedia products and executive-level communications and correspondence with a high degree of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of written information;
• Provide insights and advice to customer organization across a broad range of business, mission, and technical issues, taskings, and advisories;
• Also, the candidate may be requested to surge and flex in support of tasks and projects across the broader program scope according to their specific, personal expertise and capabilities.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:
• Bachelors with 3+ years of demonstrated performance related to the tasks above
• Active TS/SCI clearance, with Poly
• 3 years of experience in a SETA environment
• Experience with the Intel Community
• Ability to excel as team enabler, with high regard for collaboration, open communication, transparency, and flexibility
• Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate organizational positions on various topics
• Requirements verification and validation
• Systems integration with subsystem analysis and traceability for system-level selloff
