Systems Engineer to support our customer at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in San Antonio, TX. This is an exciting newly won initiative supporting Offensive Cyber Operations and deploying a DevSecOps platform in multiple cloud environments. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.
Position Description (what you will do)- Analyzing, designing, and implementing system level solutions for technical challenges
- Supporting Agile software development teams with systems engineering expertise
- Developing and managing system requirements, design documents, and specifications
- Integrating hardware, software, and network components into cohesive systems
- Performing system validation, verification, and testing to ensure requirements compliance
- Configuring and managing cloud or on-premises infrastructure for system support (AWS, Azure, and VMWare)
Requirements: (2+ years experience in the following)- System architecture design, documentation, and optimization
- Use of automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Network architecture and troubleshooting, including experience with load balancers, firewalls, and VPN's
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Gitlab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or Technical degree
