In support of Program Manager Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE), we are seeking JR, MID, and SR-level Systems Engineers.

Responsibilities:

General requirements are as follows:
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of the engineering or scientific work in a project or perform work that involves conventional engineering or scientific practices.
  • Generate specifications or plans to support the development of acquisition documentation.
  • Support technical findings, opinions, or recommendations.
  • Perform customer liaison, make presentations, and attend customer meetings.
  • Consult with stakeholders on technical applications to support program management decisions.


Specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform the administrative and technical support required to successfully coordinate and facilitate Systems Engineering Technical Reviews, to include development and update of supporting documentation for each event (i.e., Technical Review Action Plan, Technical Review Data Package); creation of technical review summary reports and additional supporting documentation; development of meeting minutes and action item trackers; and update of event information on calendars and Government-specified websites (i.e., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Develop, review, update, and deliver systems engineering documentation, to include Systems Engineering Plans and program-specific annexes; baseline documentation; Engineering Change Proposals; System Requirements documentation; and Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Participate in Configuration Management activities.
  • Draft, review, edit, and coordinate staffing of safety reports and documents in support of the program Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health process.
  • Leverage knowledge of systems engineering processes to inform the program Integrated Master Schedule on key engineering events and documents and their expected durations and dependencies.
  • Analyze user requirements and provide input to system specification documents and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM), ensuring the RTM is updated following the completion of each test event.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field
  • Jr-level: 0-2 Years of Experience
  • Mid-level: 3-6 Years of Experience
  • Sr-level: 7-9 Years of Experience

Specific/Preferred Requirements:
  • Secret Clearance required for Mid and Senior level positions. Secret Clearance preferred/ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for Junior level positions.
  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and Marine Corps policies related to providing complex acquisition analysis and planning and management support, not limited to DoD Instruction 5000.02, Adaptive Acquisition Framework and the Marine Corps Systems Command Acquisition Guidebook.
  • Familiarity with Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAP), Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs, Middle Tier Acquisitions (MTA) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA).

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

This position is performed in a typical indoor office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
