We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support a mission-critical secure enclave environment consisting of both physical and virtual infrastructure. This role supports Linux and Windows systems, network infrastructure, security compliance, and mission operations while ensuring the reliability, security, and availability of the environment. The successful candidate will administer and maintain systems and network infrastructure, configure hardware and network devices, support firewalls, perform vulnerability remediation, manage backups and compliance activities, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and support secure data movement across the environment. Qualified candidates are eligible for enhanced incentives, including up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus or a paid time off bonus. Primary Responsibilities - Administer and maintain secure Linux (Red Hat) and Windows systems supporting mission operations. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual network infrastructure and associated network devices. - Install, configure, and support network hardware, firewalls, and supporting infrastructure. - Perform system maintenance, software updates, patch management, backups, and security compliance activities. - Conduct vulnerability scanning and assist with remediation efforts to maintain secure system operations. - Manage user accounts and troubleshoot client/server and network connectivity issues. - Support secure data management and data transfer activities across mission systems. - Maintain system availability while supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a secure enclave environment. - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot operational issues and support evolving mission requirements. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, candidates without bachelors degrees will require additional years of experience and will be considered on a case by case basis - Experience administering Linux (Red Hat) and Windows operating systems. - Experience supporting physical and virtual network infrastructure. - Experience troubleshooting client/server environments and network connectivity issues. - Experience with data management and secure data transfer. - Knowledge of vulnerability management, system maintenance, patching, backups, and compliance activities. - Understanding of STE/STN requirements. - IAT Level II certification (Security+, CSA+, or equivalent). - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Ansible automation. - Experience with VMware virtualization technologies. - Experience using GitLab. - Experience with Quay. - Knowledge LatteArt/Biscotti - Experience supporting classified or mission-critical secure enclave environments.
