JOB DESCRIPTIONKegman has an immediate opening for a Radar System Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support system engineering efforts on various programs for the Department of Defense (DoD).
Responsibilities:- System trade studies and associated analyses
- Analyses of alternatives
- System performance modeling and analyses
- System Interface Design and associated Functional Modeling and Decomposition
- Requirements Verification Test
- Participate in engineering technical reviews
- Document work artifacts in Engineering Data SDRL
Required Skills:- 5+ years of experience in system engineering on DoD programs
- Radar signal processing, algorithm development, and AESA hardware/beam forming expertise; extensive MATLAB/Simulink modeling and performance analysis
- Requirements definition, verification, and system architecture using DOORS/MBSE, SysML, and trade study techniques
- End to end subsystem integration and test plan creation for radar system verification
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
Desired Skills:- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
- Experience with Python
- Experience working on a geographically distributed team
- Experience in technical leadership and/or mentoring of junior engineers
Other:- Must pass a drug test.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Government-issued security clearance at time of hire.
