The Work
As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
- Perform as a Systems Engineer in the Enterprise Sustainment Solutions Business area
- Contribute to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the systems/software development life cycle.
- Enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements. - Plan, conduct, and coordinate systems/software development activities.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug systems/software that solves business/mission problems using logical and mathematical methods.
- Apply established standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. - Translate high level requirements into detailed systems/software specifications and design documents.
Who You Are
You can operate independently and solving problems while coordinating with peers to develop solutions. You will support one or more programs and participate in all phases of the development lifecycle (design, code, and test).
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering related discipline with the development life cycle as a systems, software or integration and test engineer
Familiar with systems integration and test practices as well as test procedure development
Experience communicating technical and business priorities at all organizational level
Desired skills
Strong technical experience with ability to work with ambiguous requirements
Experience with Jira
Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
Experience with distributed simulation systems
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
