We are seeking a Systems Engineer II to support the development and integration of software, web, and hardware-based systems from initial specifications through final implementation and maintenance. In this role, you will help oversee systems engineering activities across the development lifecycle and support the integration of network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices to ensure reliable and effective system performance. The successful candidate will contribute to specification development, design, coding, testing, and maintenance activities for resilient and sophisticated systems, including systems operating in networked and web-based environments.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:- Support the development and integration of software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications through rollout and maintenance.
- Integrate various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices to ensure compatibility, functionality, and resilient system performance.
- Participate in systems engineering activities across the development lifecycle, including specification, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Analyze system requirements and technical issues to support the development of effective engineering solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and engineering artifacts related to system development and integration efforts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support system design, interface alignment, technical planning, and problem resolution.
- Contribute to technical reviews, engineering discussions, and other meetings related to system development and integration activities.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Three (3) years of professional experience integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices.
