About the role - you will:

Join a team of software engineers in Seagate's System group that focuses on providing an enterprise class end user experience to our Systems products. This role provides the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain application software on embedded platforms, while maintaining a strong commitment to engineering excellence and code quality. Responsibilities span the full software stack, from operating system services through user-facing interfaces.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of command-line interfaces used by customers to configure, manage, and monitor disk array systems.
  • Design and implement high-quality embedded application software, leveraging test-driven development and best engineering practices.
  • Triage, debug, and resolve issues identified during continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate closely with quality and test organizations to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Partner with geographically distributed team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $72,571.00 - $103,784.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
