Job Description
The Sponsor conducts technical assessments and provides technical guidance on use of various enterprise and mission enabling technologies supporting the Sponsor's Information Technology (IT) systems and network infrastructures in order to enhance the security and posture and usability. The Sponsor also provides critical review and guidance on procurement and supply chain issues, conducts digital forensic systems evaluation and analysis, and delivers technical support to investigations and insider threat issues. The Sponsor leverages technology, combined with subject matter expertise, to conduct these activities in support of its corporate office as well as external mission partners and stakeholders.
Required Skills
Demonstrated experience with SQL databases, including designing, provisioning, capacity planning, and maintenance
2. Demonstrated experience creating custom baseline workstation and systems
3. Demonstrated experience with SQL Server 2008 - 2016 database software, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
4. Demonstrated experience with multiple operating systems including Windows and Linux
5. Demonstrated experience with system design in LAN and WAN, including backup systems and disaster recovery architectures (DR)
6. Demonstrated experience evaluating hardware and software products against customer requirements for technical evaluation and potential procurement
7. Demonstrated experience designing, engineering, testing, implementing, and maintaining Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software products into networks for potential production deployment
Desired Skills
Experience with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, 2016, 2019, and System Center experience is a plus
Experience building, configuring and troubleshooting customized forensic workstations.
Experience with Shell scripting
Experience with SQL Server and MySQL
Experience with Storage systems, including Net App and HP
Experience with VMware ESX
Experience with HP Servers and HP Blade Chassis
Experience with multiple Hypervisors including HyperV, ESX, and VirtualBox
Experience with Windows Management including Active Directory, SCOM, and VMM.
Experience with LAN and WAN deployments
Experience with Enterprise Backup Solutions such as Microsoft DPM and ArcServe Backup Suite.
Experience with planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of applications and services.
Experience with providing recommendations to architecture and design reviews
Experience interfacing with vendors and third party producers
Experience building, configuringand troubleshooting customized forensic workstations.

VMware Certified
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
