Basic Requirements:
- 7 years of experience as a system engineer
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 5 additional years of experience as a system engineer may be substituted for a degree
Job Description:
- The System Engineer shall provide continuous monitoring, testing, system administration, program management, and ISSO support for multiple large Linux mission systems.
- The System Engineer shall be responsible for maintaining the operational security posture for an information system to ensure information security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
Required Experience:
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience with basic Linux system administration
- Experience with continuous monitoring of multiple mission critical systems in a Cloud or on-prem enclave Linux environment
- Experience maintaining operational security posture for an information system
- Experience using the Agency's suite of corporate tools to report/track mission systems security information including LatteArt, Xacta, SEAR, Biscotti, UAM, CYBORGBUNNY, etc.
- Experience preparing documentation for System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), and Certification and Accreditation packages
- Experience using Git Source Control System
Desired Experience:
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including Confluence and Jira
Salary: $185,000 - $195,000 annually
