Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:
  1. Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  2. Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  3. Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  4. Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply. Support acquisition lifecycle management functions, including milestone documentation creation and review, architectural review activities (including security documents), and support CCB and ERB review boards.
Required:
  • Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
  • Depending on degree 13-19 YOE
Education:
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $224,679.00 - $239,948.00
