Job Summary

Job Summary:

The System Director of Environmental Services oversees all environmental operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistent standards in housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, infection control, and regulatory compliance. This leader drives operational excellence, develops service protocols, and manages community-level EVS directors to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming environments for our patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support community EVS leaders across the system
  • Standardize housekeeping operations, cleaning protocols, and workflow practices
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and senior living regulatory standards
  • Oversee infection control procedures and environmental safety initiatives
  • Develop training programs, performance metrics, and quality audits
  • Manage system-wide budgets, staffing models, and vendor partnerships
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies to elevate resident satisfaction
  • Collaborate with clinical, dining, and administrative leadership to support overall community operations


Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of leadership experience in environmental services, healthcare, senior living, or hospitality
  • Multi-site or regional management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project-management skills
  • Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and optimize workflows
