Job Description

The Office of School Health (OSH) within the Division of Family and Child Health (DFCH) is a joint Program of the Department of Education (DOE) and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) responsible for promoting the health of over 1.3 million school children enrolled in approximately 1,800 public and non-public schools in the New York City. Services to students include case management of chronic health problems, preventive health screening, urgent care, medication administration, preventive counseling, health education, referral for care and assurance of ongoing effective treatment. The Office of Field Operations supports the coordination and implementation of services.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
-Create systems and processes to integrate various data sources
-Contribute to DOT. Net web solution dashboard to manage staffing and operations.
-Participate in modernizing $100M system for implementing agency nurse staffing coverage
-Assist with web solutions for improving operations and HR type systems and engage on special projects to meet emergent business needs.
-System integration of OSH data systems with external health agency systems
-Explore data exchange technologies
