Overview

CVP is seeking a Systems Architect / Technical Lead to serve as the technical authority for NIH Web Services, whichoperatesthe NIH Enterprise Service Bus and SOA platform via MuleSoftAnypointPlatform andCloudHub. The platform handles approximately 44 million API hits annually andoperatesunder FedRAMP Moderatecontrols.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical authority for MuleSoft/ESB/SOA architecture and API-led connectivity design
  • Lead security/ATO alignment, FedRAMP Moderate compliance, and root-cause resolution
  • Design and govern reusable System, Process, and Experience API layers
  • Oversee API security, TLS, high-volume reliability, observability, and performance architecture
  • Produce ARB artifacts and technical standards; mentor the engineering team
  • Lead modernization of integration services and assess new system architecture needs rapidly
