Full Job Description

The Consultant Architect role focuses on Epic environment management and upgrades, effective resolution of technical issues with Epic delivery, and assists with Epic technical tasks such as interfaces, batch jobs, change management, and other Epic-focused tasks.

Note: This is a remote position for the following states: WA, AK, MT, GA, & FL. The pay range shown is for Washington, and Alaska only.

The Consultant Architect serves a pivotal role in the oversight, management and implementation of complex application suites. They oversee and guide the implementation and support of multifaceted application portfolios, requiring extensive knowledge of: hospital operations, industry best practices and systems analysis methodologies. They guide and support teams of other senior architects, systems consultants and systems analysts. They are a learned counsel and advisor to IS leadership in matters of system design and architecture. The incumbent must be a senior technologist who can lead a team of architects, and possess comprehensive knowledge of hospital operations, systems analysis methodologies, and business process design. They are knowledgeable in information technology architectures and serve as a "go to" resource for IS, user and vendor personnel. Their expertise and experience are leveraged to develop solutions that best align Children's business requirements with the functionality and constraints of off-the-shelf software and related technology solutions. Their extensive knowledge in application and technical architectures is essential to the cost-effective implementation and support of complex service solutions.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of seven (7) years experience and working knowledge of software development and implementation life cycle processes in an enterprise IT environment, to include: 3-5 years experience and knowledge of project management practices, including project planning and risk/issue management. Experience in application integration technologies. Epic certified in modules supported or receive certification within 6 months from employment.

Compensation Range

$142,991.00 - $214,487.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
