Job DescriptionACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIREDIn this role, you won't just be closing tickets-you'll be the backbone of our enterprise reliability. You will manage daily system configurations, troubleshoot complex server hardware and software integration issues, and optimize resource utilization across client/server/storage and network architectures. From providing Tier 1 through Tier 2 escalation support to shaping mission architecture and navigating Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) interdependencies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring system integrity, performance, and high availability. The annual base salary range for this role is $170,000-$201,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Comprehensive System Administration: Proven experience configuring, managing, and maintaining UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, including OS installation, patch management, and system integrity maintenance.
- Tier 1-2 Escalation & Troubleshooting: In-depth experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex hardware, software, network component, and dispatch issues with clear feedback to agency management.
- System Optimization & Capacity Planning: Demonstrated ability to analyze capacity, optimize resource utilization, and perform system enhancements to boost reliability and performance.
- Enterprise Infrastructure & SOA Awareness: Practical working knowledge of storage, client/server/network architecture interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
15+ years of professional software engineering experience OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
20+ years of hands-on technical software development and big data administration experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsDeep familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools, automated deployment scripts, and configuration management frameworks.
Experience supporting hardware design, mission architecture planning, and high-availability client/server/storage setups.
Outstanding communication skills, customer service orientation, and a proactive approach to managing complex ticket escalations.
