Job Description:As a Systems Administrator at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in network and systems administration, cybersecurity, and technical support across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled, solutions-oriented professional with experience in maintaining, securing, and optimizing complex IT environments to advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.
Key Responsibilities: - Administer and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, network accounts, and security tools.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security measures such as firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Design, update, and manage web pages and local system documentation.
- Monitor system configuration, performance, and security, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Train staff on relevant software and provide technical assistance to users.
- Assist with the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives and maintain required certifications as applicable.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. (Advanced degree preferred)
- 3-10+ years of professional experience in systems administration.
- Secret is required
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large, multi-year programs or projects.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with DoD standards, compliance, and modular open systems approaches is highly desirable.
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
