If you enjoy solving problems, building smart technical solutions, and working with people who care about national security, this role might be your next adventure.

You'll get hands-on with both physical and virtual systems, web-based apps, and all the behind-the-scenes tech that keeps missions running smoothly. You'll partner with Active Duty personnel, government staff, and contractors to keep systems secure, stable, and ready for action. Expect a fast-paced environment where you'll troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements, and dive deep into root cause analysis - all while helping design and support resilient, secure IT solutions. This role covers everything from server and workstation setups to LAN support, and it's based in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. Because technology evolves quickly, we're looking for someone who stays curious, keeps learning, and isn't afraid to explore new tools or ideas that can make our systems even better.

What you'll be doing:
  • Be a key player on Linux systems administration teams, working across networking and security for projects deployed on-prem and in the cloud.
  • Help integrate systems and support cross-team deployments.
  • Build and enhance configuration and automation tools.
  • Participate in all things security - patching, auditing, remediation, and recovery.
  • Explore and test emerging technologies that could benefit the mission.
  • Improve daily processes, hunt down issues, and join a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Contribute to project planning, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Collaborate on technical documents that keep our projects aligned and transparent.
