Full Job Description

The Digital Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a System Support Specialist to work in our Huntsville, AL office. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience in support of the NEST Contract mission, providing end-user computing device services to NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver new services to customers, including mobile, print, and computer services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assigned customer issues.
  • Interact daily with NASA customers to provide consultation and guidance on NEST services.
  • Perform initial problem identification and troubleshooting of system issues, serving as a primary point of contact for NASA customers.
  • Provide system support and guidance to assist customers with adjusting or obtaining services.
  • Assist end users with hardware and software requests.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Information Technology (IT) support experience.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting current versions of the Windows operating system.
  • Experience working with current versions of macOS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of and experience with the NASA desktop computing environment and software suite.
  • Experience using ServiceNow to manage incidents and service requests.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
