Clearance Requirement
  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance. Only fully adjudicated clearances are acceptable. Interim clearances will not be accepted.
  • SCI active or eligible.
  • U.S. citizenship is required to comply with government contract.

Required Skills: Windows Server 2019; WSUS; Windows Defender. Management and implementation of thin client infrastructure.

Desired Skills: Experience as a Data Transfer Officer is a huge plus and will be compensated for in any offer package. RHEL and NetApp.

Position Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage implementing security-related software patches in response to Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA).
  • Monitor and manage user access to various IT resources.
  • Configure and install various IT systems (e.g., Windows Server 2019, RHEL, vulnerability scanning and monitoring tools, WSUS, Windows Defender and NetApp).
  • Configure and manage high availability systems.
  • Continually support the team with everything from accomplishing daily tasks to assist with scheduling and implementing installations, upgrades, patches, maintenance and troubleshooting in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Help to ensure integrity of data recoverability by performing regular system backups, file transfers and offsite backup transportation, storage and retrieval services.
  • Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting desktop/server peripherals (including software and OS) and ensuring customer satisfaction by quickly resolving time-sensitive problems and documenting resolutions.
  • Provide Video Teleconference (VTC) support onsite while being able to identify and troubleshoot of moderate complexity.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Education
  • Any of the following certifications would be a plus:
    • CompTIA Security+ Certification
    • CompTIA Server+ Certification
