Full Job Description

Make an impact as a Systems Administrator, where your expertise keeps critical systems secure, optimized, and running seamlessly across the organization’s digital environment. In this role, you’ll support core infrastructure and leverage the M365 suite—including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, and Viva—while contributing to backend administration. Exposure to Azure, Active Directory, security tools, and Intune will support effective troubleshooting (helpful, not required).

You’ll bring strong process discipline, with the ability to create clear documentation and follow established workflows, along with a solid understanding of ServiceNow or structured ticket management. If you’re adaptable, technically curious, and eager to support a broad range of IT initiatives—this is an opportunity to drive reliability, scalability, and a great end-user experience.

Job Summary:

Implements infrastructure to include capacity planning, high available systems, disaster recovery plans, system maintenance/patching plans, system backup plans, system performance, system documentation, and system alerts to ensure business continuity and data security. Mentors associate level staff.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors and works support queue.
  • Conducts hardware and software deployment, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
  • Performs a variety of tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, security and repair of hardware and software.
  • Performs infrastructure and application documentation.
  • Reviews systems and practices to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Provides technical support for problems and changes.
  • Mentors and trains others on team.
  • Manages complex infrastructure projects.
  • Remains current in technical area or discipline via annual technical training and/or technical certifications.
  • Resolves and reports on issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education


EXPERIENCE

  • Three years' experience within area of discipline

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
